Hi!
Thanks for taking time to view my online railway album. I hope you find something of interest to you. All of these images are shot digitally on various cameras (I have owned several!!) from 1998 onwards. A couple of months after initial upload the pictures will either be deleted or transfered to the individual class collections.
My current camera equipment consists of a Canon EOS5D and I recently upgraded my Canon EOS40D to a new EOS 7D. I currently use a Canon 17-40 f4.0L series zoom, Canon 50mm f1.4 prime, Canon 28-105 F4.0 L series IS USM Zoom and a Canon 70-200 f4.0 L series lenses. I try to update the site as often as I can - work, wife and weather permitting!! - ENJOY!!

My interest in railways (obsession if you speak to my wife :-)) started on my 11th Birthday (July 1979) after a family visit to the NRM, York. I asked my parents what all the people were doing in the carpark with notebooks and pencils and after an explanation and promises not to leave the Car Park I was left with my brother for an hour or so, while my parents went shopping (Oh how times have changed!!) armed with a NRM notebook and Pencil and my hobby was born. Nigh on 25 years later I am still inflicted with the disease!! I started serious railway photography in the late 1980's when i was bought my first 35mm SLR ( a fully automatic Yashica) and started recording images with print and slide film, before progressing to digital.

All of the images on this site are available for sale via the online printshop facility, just click on the "buy" link under any required image. Due to upolad time/space constraints most of the images upploaded before summer 2005 are of a compressed nature so i would STRONGLY ADVISE you contact me prior to placing any orders and I will endeavour to upload a Higher resoluton image :-).
All images purchased remain under the copyright of the the respective potographers. |
